Beat The Heat

Well we have broken a record for the most days over 115 degrees here in Las Vegas so I've decided to install some radiant barrier in my attic.

I installed additional insullation in the spring as well as started replacing my windows with Millgard replacements which are realy energy efficient, I started with the master bedroom which faces south next I think I'll do the dining room and kitchen you can check back for pictures or if you have any questions send me an e-mail.

My wife's 2002 Miata

Well it's been 2 1/2 years since my wife got her new 2002 White Mazda Miata so now its time to do some upgrades.








I compiled a list of things that I wanted to accomplish in the short term and set up a budget here's what I plan to accomplish over the next month.

1. Two new Tokiko shocks on the rear to get rid of that annoying sound whenever we go over a speed bump. (complete)
2. AEM short ram intake. (complete)
3. Seat covers. (complete)
4. Window tint. (complete)
5. Borla dual tip stainless steel exhaust system. (complete)
6. Grill Guard. (complete)
7. Hard Dog roll bar
8. Custom Paint Decals
9. PWR Aluminum Performance Radiator

I started by installing the window tint which was actually harder than I thought it would be but with my wife's patient assistance everything went ok.

Next came two new rear shocks since one of them developed a nice little noise when you went over a speed bump, I chose tokiko standard replacements shocks because the car wont be being lowered.


Time for the AEM short ram intake system the installation was pretty straight forward and took about an hour.
I'm planning on doing some airflow tubing from behind the grill for better cool air supply.




Well I ordered the Borla Exhaust from Miata Mania who by the way is the only supplier of this particular exhaust system, sure there's a lot of other companies that you can buy aftermarket exhaust from but only Miata Mania has this particular Borla setup with there famous million mile warranty.


Well it's here and I didn't even expect it until tomorrow "looks like another late night"
